Degree programs with academic advising and orientation procedures

Pre-registration and application for admission

If you are a non-German EU/EEA citizen and wish to study a degree program with an academic advising and orientation procedure, be aware that you must undergo this procedure (in the form and within the deadline specified). You should do so directly with the institute responsible for your degree program of choice and additionally apply to the International Office to study at LMU.

1. Academic advising and orientation procedure at the relevant institute

A summary of which degree programs currently include an academic advising and orientation procedure at LMU can be found in the "programs offered" section. For information regarding deadlines and documents to be submitted, please contact the relevant institute or refer to their website. If you have pre-registered on time, you will receive a written notification from the relevant institute, the original and a copy of which you must present at registration together with the other registration documents.

2. Application to the International Office

Independently of the pre-registration process associated with your subject, you must also submit an application for admission to your degree program to the International Office in the form and within the deadline specified. Registration can only take place once you have successfully gone through the admission process at the International Office.
