Student support services

LMU is here to advise you throughout your studies and enable you to do your absolute best. Reach out to us concerning your questions about university life, your private life and successfully balancing both.

Where to get help

The Central Student Advisory Office advises and supports you on any topic associated with your studies. The Munich Center for Teacher Education is there to take care of student teachers. And the Office of the University Registrar takes anything to do with administration in hand.

More contacts for you

Munich Student Union (Studentenwerk München) is responsible for the economic, social and cultural aspects of student life. The LMU Student Council also offers help. And there's academic counseling for study-related questions.

Mentoring

In the Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Program (P2P) experienced students help first-years from the same subject get up and running. For refugees there's a special P2P program. And Career Mentoring — offered by LMU Career Services — helps students establish a professional life.

Services for students with family responsibilities

The mentoring program known as tandemPLUS offered by the University Women's Representative seeks to relieve the pressure on students with family or care duties.
