Deadlines for international degree students and applicants

Application deadlines

Registration of foreign students (non-restricted subjects, EU, and all subjects, non-EU) can only happen upon prior submission of your application for admission to the International Office. You will be given an appointment to register upon receipt of your letter of admission.

Application deadlines for the summer semester must be made by 15 January and for the winter semester by 15 July each year.

In the event of your missing a deadline, you will at the very least forfeit one whole semester.

EU/EEA members and "Bildunginländer" (equivalent to German school leavers) should be aware that restricted admission subjects must be applied for via the SfH Foundation for University Admissions or the Office of the University Registrar (Studentenkanzlei.)
