Securing a scholarship isn't just reserved for high-performing students. Whether it's the Deutschlandstipendium (Germany Scholarship) or book allowances — LMU has a number of different options for you.

Grants and scholarships

International students are eligible for several scholarships and funding opportunities throughout the State of Bavaria (e.g. Oskar-Karl Forster Scholarship) and Germany (e.g. Deutschlandstipendium). LMU offers some special scholarship programs for third-year students and others.

Advisory services

Both Munich's Student Union (Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern) and LMU offer advice on scholarships. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship database offers information on the various types of scholarships.
