Your department and LMU’s Department VI.5 have designated contact persons who can assist you with questions about the website relaunch or ongoing website management.
Larger organizational units at LMU have their own FirstSpirit web project, in which all websites for that area are managed. Project administrators and coordinators are the contact persons for editors.
The project administrator—or project admin for short—is responsible for technical and administrative tasks within a web project. This person works closely with the technical team of Department VI.5 Internet Services. Typically, there is one project admin per web project.
Key responsibilities include:
Special case – Cross-unit projects:
In so-called cross-unit projects that are not directly assigned to an organizational unit, the technical and administrative tasks are handled by Department VI.5 Internet Services.
In addition to technical roles tied to permissions within the WCMS, there are organizational roles responsible for coordinating the implementation of the website or the entire web project. This role can also be combined with that of the project admin.
Key responsibilities include:
Please note that the table is continuously updated.
The FirstSpirit projects marked with * have their own rights concept.
For central and cross-unit websites, there are dedicated FirstSpirit shared projects. Content-related support is provided by the site coordination of the respective area, while technical support is handled by the central support team of Department VI.5.
In so-called shared projects, thematically related websites are grouped within a single web project. For example, all interfaculty research projects under "53 interfaculty research project."
As a result, there is no central project admin or coordinator. Instead, site coordinators manage and support the content of their specific website only.
Key responsibilities include:
Department VI.5 takes on project admin responsibilities for websites within shared projects.
