GSN faculty study neurogenesis and synaptic integration of new neurons, synaptic transmission, network dynamics, and circuit computation using cutting-edge imaging, electrophysiology, and genetic tools – building a multi-level understanding of how the brain is organized, how it operates and how it can be repaired.
